Auger Boring
What Is Auger Boring?
Auger boring is a trenchless method for installing underground pipelines. It uses a machine to push a steel casing through the ground while a rotating auger—a big screw-like tool—digs out the dirt. The auger pulls the soil back to a starting pit, leaving the casing in place. It’s a straightforward way to create a borehole without digging up the surface, perfect for jobs needing minimal disruption.
We currently possess 10” augers, allowing us to bore to a depth of approximately 160' with our current tooling. Additionally, we provide boring services for foundations with augers up to 24", reaching depths of around 20'.
